Nashville Krav Maga’s HERO Initiative Program

The HERO Initiative combines the best age-appropriate aspects of both Krav Maga and BJJ into one simple, effective self-defense and fitness program. We focus on teaching self-defense, anti-bullying, fitness, character development, situational awareness, and accountability in a safe and positive learning environment.

The HERO Initiative program realizes that each student possesses different physical abilities.  Size and strength vary with each individual.  Once a student has acquired a strong foundation in the basics, the program will enhance the student’s physical capabilities and maximize his/her self-defense skills. Individual attention is a feature of each and every class, allowing all students to progress quickly and confidently toward their personal goals.

HERO Initiative instructors have studied various traditional and non-traditional martial arts including karate, taekwondo, Krav Maga and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for over 10 years. We have over 20 years of experience working with children and teens in various settings.
